The Cambodia Daily
house advertisement

(QuarkXPress, Photoshop)

One of a series of subscription-boosting advertisements I conceived and designed for The Cambodia Daily in 1996. The ads used a light-hearted approach to sell the traditionally politics-heavy paper. Other ads in the series pictured Orson Welles in Citizen Kane and the aye-aye, a small nocturnal mammal native to northern Madagascar.

The series proved a resounding success. They continue to bring in faxed subscription orders today.
